I concur! Just tested it and without any changes in my code it works flawlessly and it's even faster than v2.6.

Ensure that you explicitly enable WiredTiger to benefit for the better speed and features of this great new storage engine.
Its best feature is IMHO document-level locking, and then perhaps compression.
