BigTable and XE3

BigTable looks interesting to investigate further, but it fails to compile with XE3.

So, is BigTable now a "legacy project" ?

Re: BigTable and XE3

Retrieve the latest 1.18 revision from http://synopse.info/fossil

It compiles and works perfectly with XE3.

Re: BigTable and XE3

Thank you for that hint.

If one don't want to install Fossil and just get the latest (stable?) version of TBigTable it is a little bit cumbersome sad  I had to verify which files were in the (old) download I have and pick them one by one. Unfortunately the file Synopse.inc on http://synopse.info/fossil/raw/Synopse. … 23df82d15b resulted in a 403 error.

Nevertheless, now I have it, it compiles, the test project runs without errors - and so I can go one to evaluate it.

Please use my comment as a suggestion to update the BigTable info. It seems that this is a powerful class and you are making it a little bit hard to use it in the first time. Or is this the "hurdle rate" in order to only get experienced users wink

Re: BigTable and XE3

You do not have to install Fossil.
Not log in to the repository from the web as anonymous.
It is all explained in http://synopse.info/fossil/wiki?name=Get+the+source

Yes, we need to update the BigTable information, or at least refers directly to the fossil repository.
