Can PDF Engine load an PDF file?

I'm looking at SynPdf.pas and I don't see any methods for loading or opening an existing PDF file, which is what I want to do.  In my case, I want to load it from a stream in memory.  Can PDF Engine do that?  If not, I'm looking for an open source module that can (Delphi 6/7).  I should point out that I want access to the decompressed text since I want to search the text of the PDF document, not display it or the like.

No there is no readparser yet.

I do not know any open source delphi project able to do this.

To get the text yiu can use pdf2text tool included in xpdf.
