How to print multiple items in footer on the same line

Is it possible to have a footer item (say 'Copyright 2013 X Software' using the AddTextToFooterAt method) aligned left, then another footer item (say 'Page %d of %d' using the AddPagesToFooter method) aligned right, but have both items displayed on the same line?  I have both items displayed on different lines currently.
