Hi Folks,
Before mORMot is FPC and Linux ready, I might need to write and deploy a little app on a public Windows server, so if you use any non-expensive Windows VPS (means you have real experience ) and you think it's OK, would you share your experience here? That'll also benefit others too

mORMot and DWScript servers have the same http.sys kernel mode server, and the same hardware requirement.
See http://www.delphitools.info/2013/11/20/ … w-settled/ for experiments by Eric Grange.
In France here, a Flex Server at 19,99 € per month, with 2GB RAM + 70 GB HDD is perfect for Windows hosting.
See http://express.ikoula.co.uk/flex-server
They offer Windows Server 2012 in the price.
Even the 12,99 € per month, with 1GB RAM and 50 GB HDD is enough for a mORMot server.
In all cases, adding Content Delivery Network support, or a dedicated Linux server for all static content could make sense!

Thanks for the info ab, the price seems to be reasonable .

Yes, I thought of that... I really can't wait to use mORMot on my Linode Linux VPS!
