How do I get started with Lazarus and FreePascal?

Hi, this is my first post to this forum

How do I get started using Lazarus and FreePascal on Linux?

Are there any demos or samples I can try out?

Re: How do I get started with Lazarus and FreePascal?

I have seen the samples and on trying the first one on 64bit Lazarus I get this error::

SynCrypto.pas(1282,6) Error: Identifier not found "cfSSE41"

Could it be related to this new update:

No, this has nothing to do with SHA-256 optimized asm under x64.

In fact, we do not support 64 bit Linux on mORMot yet.
We tested with 32 bit only yet.

So you need a 32 bit version of Lazarus, or cross-compile from a 64 bit Lazarus into a 32 bit Linux target.
