Unwanted extra spaces in showpreviewform

HI.
In a test with sqlite3Pages I get the ouput from showpreviewform which shows extra blank spaces EVEN in between words..
If I save the same metafile to a pdf file, the extra spaces are shown ONLY between words.
For example, the saved pdf file viewed with Acrobat shows:

Mi  Hermoso  Restaurante
Avenida  del  Sol  #1         Instead of

Mi Hermoso Restaurante
Avenida del Sol #1

The output (on screen) of showpreviewform, shows
Mi  Her moso  Rest aurant e
Ave ni da  del  Sol  #1

Any help on this?

Sorry. I had the default printer set to Generic/Text-only.
