Re: Date for next stable mormot

Veeery soon!

I was waiting for the 2nd patch of SQlite3.
Which is just out:
https://sqlite.org/releaselog/3_51_2.html

And the LUTI integration seems stable enough:
https://luti.tranquil.it/listfolder/eb5 … ffd823f20c

If anyone has some feedback about NOT making the release, this is the time!

Re: Date for next stable mormot

Thank you for the new Mormot 2.4 version
But I am a bit puzzled about the static files: When should we use the static.7z for POSIX systems?

Re: Date for next stable mormot

Yes, the release is out!
https://blog.synopse.info/?post/2026/01 … .4-Release

Just replace the content of the /static sub-folder with the new .tgz or .7z.
As stated by the release notes, follow the installation steps.

About upgrade, you may have trouble with PUT or DELETE commands on interface services.
They are now disabled by default: but you can easily re-enable those verbs.

Re: Date for next stable mormot

Download associated mORMot 2.4.stable static binaries .7z and extract it into the static sub-folder of local source (e.g. d:\dev\mormot2\static).  On POSIX, consider the static binaries .tgz.

I really did not understand.

Re: Date for next stable mormot

The content is the same.
On POSIX, the .tgz is easier to decompress than the .7z which requires an external tool.

Re: Date for next stable mormot

Total assertions failed for all test suits: 0 / 174,147,768
! All tests passed successfully.

170+ million tests! Awesome!

Also, I have a 'typical' test Lazarus GUI database program, consisting of a form with Lazarus's TDataSource and TDBGrid components, connecting to mORMot's TSqlDBSQLite3Connection, executing TSqlDBStatement and getting data in TSqlDataSet.

On my Ubuntu 24.04, with mORMot 2.3 and Lazarus-qt5 4.4, the program crashes when run. Now with mORMot 2.4, same Lazarus setup, the program works - it executes the given SQL on my database and shows the data in a GUI grid.
